Social Series - JFK Spring #GLAMJAM
May 26, 2016

On a Thursday evening, over 50 guests joined the Just for Kids Foundation for our Spring #GLAMJAM event. Our guests were pampered at the beautiful new AVANTI le Spa and treated to manicures, makeup applications, hairstyling and more before posing in front of the JFK step & repeat wall. Proceeds from the evening will be used to purchase a new breast pump for the NICU department of the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Thank you to our guests, event sponsors and event chairs for making this evening a glamorous success!

Social Series – JFK Spinning Event
May 1, 2016

Get ready, get set, spin! May 1st marked the first Just for Kids Foundation’s Spinning Event, led by JFK volunteer and certified spin instructor Derek Silverman, at the YM-YWHA’s all new Cycle Studio. The event was packed with spinners who pedalled the morning away to help raise funds to purchase urgently needed medical equipment for the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Great music and fantastic drills motivated the class, which left our participants feeling accomplished yet rejuvenated!

Family Series – Indoor Beach Party

On a Sunday afternoon, JFK hosted over 175 guests at an Indoor Beach Party at the Montreal Beach Association. Families and friends enjoyed a day of games, raffles and playing in the sand as they supported JFK’s mission to raise funds to purchase high priority medical equipment for the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

A special thank you to the volunteers who helped organize the day’s activities including sand castle building contests, relay races and a treasure hunt. As well, the support of Montreal’s business community was overwhelming, with wonderful prizes donated by: Blush & Vyne, Culiniste, David’s Tea, Dita Pilates, Dot & Lil, Finish the Outfit, Gymanou, iStore, Les 3 Brasseurs, Le Pascha, Le REC Room, Michelle Little Photography, TCBY and Yoga BEAR.

Men’s Series – Scotch Tasting
March 31, 2015

A trip around Scotland was the theme of the evening as the experts at Pub Burgundy Lion took our guests on a tour of four different scotches and their origins.

With the Habs on the big screen this was a true guy’s night out, watching the game and sampling a selection of premium scotches along with food pairings. Guests were introduced to the “Just for Kids” Foundation and the A Growing Promise campaign.
